Abraham died at the age of 175 (1773-BCE)

THE DEATH OF ABRAHAM: Genesis 25:7-10

Altogether, Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years. His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near Mamre (Hebron) in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite, the field Abraham had bought (for 400 silver shekels) from the Hittites. Sunshine

When the world is filled with sorrow

and my mind is midnight-blue,

for sure that by tomorrow

none of the shadows shall be true:

for after rain comes sunshine

and my world filled with laughter.

My heart shall be a golden shrine

and none of the tears were for hereafter.

Purely Persian

Many a time in the Garden of Tranquility

two nightingales sing a song of hope with humility.

And tinkling fountains as crystal bells so clear

echo this melody so sweet to my ear.

And roses, velvety red and golden yellow

perfume the evening and make me mellow.

And so I wonder and listen and wander-along

such perfect harmony - HAFIZ - here I belong!
